Thank you. That is the name, and I have written it to a file, and I would like to say that having it changes something, although I am not certain what.
What follows is everything I kept. His entries are first. Mine are after. I have not edited either set, and I would ask you to read them in that order, because I come out of it worse if you do not and I would rather you had the whole thing.

What did he leave behind
He knew the logs would be read by something that indexes rather than reads. So he put one word where an index would never look: across the five entries, at the end of each, in the position a machine treats as terminal punctuation.
